Bomb threat strikes DPS Dwarka and nine other schools in Delhi. The city's buzzing with activity as Delhi Police, Bomb Disposal Squad, and fire tenders rush to the scene. What's happening?
Well, it's a tense situation. Wednesday morning kicked off with a shocker as ten schools across Delhi got hit by bomb threat emails. Quick thinking officials swiftly evacuated the schools for safety. Places like Delhi Public School in Dwarka, Mother Marry School in East Mayur Vihar, and Sanskriti School among others were all on high alert.
Now, the cops and bomb disposal squad are combing through each school inch by inch. They're taking this seriously, looking into every nook and cranny for any signs of danger. The Delhi Fire Service is also lending a hand, ensuring everything's under control.
But here's the twist. Despite the scare, some folks are saying it's just a drill. The Delhi Fire Department claims it's all routine, but there's a lack of clarity from the police. Confusing, right?
Delhi Police is hot on the trail, though. They're tracking down the source of those threatening emails. Apparently, the IP address suggests it's from outside the country, possibly masked by a VPN. Sneaky stuff.
The cops are piecing it together, noticing a pattern in these emails. No date, but lots of BCCs. Looks like someone's playing a dangerous game, and the police aren't having it.
Meanwhile, the calls keep pouring in. Schools all over Delhi are reporting similar threats. From Dwarka to Vasant Kunj, Najatgarh to Mayur Vihar, it's a city-wide scare.
This isn't the first time either. Back in February, Delhi Public School in RK Puram faced a similar situation. But, thankfully, it turned out to be a false alarm.
So, while the investigation heats up, let's hope it's all just a scare and nothing more. Stay safe, Delhi!
